Masks are now necessary to wear if you want to go into any store in Texas. I don’t think the people who are making these rules are thinking about how hard it is to wear one of those things for a period of time.
First of all, it is the summer time here in Texas and wearing a mask is basically a death wish. It is already so humid outside, so putting a mask on just makes breathing even harder. Your face begins to sweat under your mask and it just feels so uncomfortable. Texans are not made for these masks. We already sweat so much and live in such hot weather, why make it worse?
Secondly, I have braces so wearing a mask isn’t exactly easy either. When someone is trying talk to me and I have to reply, my mask gets caught in my braces. I literally have string hanging off of my mask because of how tangled it has gotten. One day I took the mask off and I had strings of my mask wrapped around my bracket.
Lastly, when you are someone who wears glasses for your eye sight, they get fogged quite easily. When I try to breathe out of my mask all of the hot air hits my glasses and they begin to fog  up. What is the point of glasses if you can’t see out of them? The mask is literally complicating my vision even more.
These are some of my struggles with wearing a mask. I’m sure other people deal with these as well or probably more. Once again masks are not made for Texans or people in general.
